Reception Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)

About the Role
The school is seeking a full-time Reception TA to support a class with additional needs, following the departure of their current Teaching Assistant. You’ll play a key role in supporting learning through play, phonics and early development, helping children feel safe, confident and excited about learning.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting children across the Reception curriculum, both in groups and 1:1
• Confidently supporting pupils with additional needs in an EYFS setting
• Delivering and reinforcing phonics and early language development
• Supporting learning through play, indoor and outdoor provision
• Helping to create a calm, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS team
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll have experience working in Early Years, with a good understanding of the EYFS framework and phonics. You’ll be confident supporting children with additional needs, adaptable, nurturing and proactive. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred.
