Responsibilities
* Lead and check the design and delivery of infrastructure packages for major developments.
* Oversee highways designs including S38 and S278 works, ensuring technical robustness and buildability.
* Lead drainage strategies and detailed design, including S104 and S98 agreements, SUDS, foul pumping stations and balancing facilities.
* Champion safety and compliance with CDM Regulations and UK Building Standards.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, manage interfaces with clients, authorities and contractors, and drive programmes to agreed milestones.
* Mentor and guide engineers and technicians, raising quality across the team.
Qualifications
* HND, HNC or degree in Civil Engineering.
* Strong design software capability including AutoCAD and MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage.
* Proven experience delivering development infrastructure projects.
* Chartered status or active progress toward it is highly desirable.
* Confident communicator who enjoys leading, reviewing and presenting technical work.
