About the Graduate Teaching Assistant position:
Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and passionate graduates eager to gain classroom experience before starting teacher training. These are long-term placements starting ASAP and in September 2024.
This is a highly rewarding role. The school seeks individuals who are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, approachable, positive, and flexible. You should be able to communicate with pupils in a manner that encourages and supports them, helping to build trusting relationships. Your responsibilities include assisting the teacher and supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis.
* This role is ideal for recent graduates aiming to gain classroom experience before teacher training.
* Full support and guidance will be provided by Prospero’s Training and Development Team, awarded ‘Best Upskilling Provider’ in the UK Business Awards 2024.
* You will have access to additional CPD courses, live webinars, and 1-1 coaching.
* It serves as a stepping stone to salaried routes for obtaining qualified teacher status (QTS). We have partnerships with teacher training providers where you can acquire QTS with no tuition fees.

* Position – Graduate Teaching Assistant

* School hours – 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, term-time only
* Contract – full-time / part-time
* Minimum rate of pay – £ per day
