Title: Technical Maintenance Specialist

Our client is seeking a Technical Maintenance Specialist responsible for maintaining and repairing laboratory instrumentation to ensure compliance with QMS and ISO 17025 standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Optimize maintenance processes and equipment reliability, providing hands-on support for instrument maintenance and repairs.
2. Engage in training and development to enhance technical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
3. Participate in LEAN projects.
4. Manage and maintain all service maintenance contracts for laboratory equipment and facilities.
5. Lead contract renewal negotiations, focusing on cost-effectiveness and high-quality service.
6. Collaborate with operational and technical teams to ensure preventive maintenance is conducted.
7. Serve as the main contact for on-site service engineers, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.
8. Oversee arrival of engineers, coordinating with service companies for dispatch of personnel and parts.
9. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, contracts, and LEAN project outcomes for traceability and compliance.
10. Communicate effectively across organization levels, providing updates on schedules, contracts, and projects.
11. Adhere to and promote Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
Requirements:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific or related field.
* Technical experience in an analytical testing laboratory environment.
* Familiarity with IEC/ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and other ISO standards, along with Quality Management Systems.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, high-throughput setting.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving various issues.
* Knowledge of quality KPIs and metrics, with the ability to implement continuous improvements.
* Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
* Experience in auditing.
