Are you a strategic leader with a passion for nurturing client relationships and delivering commercial impact? SafeContractor is looking for a dynamic Head of Account Management to take the reins of our high-performing Client Services team. In this senior role, you’ll be at the forefront of client retention and expansion - ensuring our valued partners continue to see the full benefit of working with us.

You’ll oversee the entire account management function, setting ambitious team goals, defining KPIs, and driving performance to exceed expectations. Your leadership will be key to mentoring and developing the team, aligning resources, and managing budgets to deliver excellence at every touchpoint.

As a visible and influential voice of SafeContractor, you’ll maintain senior-level client relationships, act as an industry expert, and represent us externally with confidence and credibility. While this role doesn’t involve direct new business acquisition, your sharp commercial instincts will help shape growth strategies and support tender and proposal processes as needed.

What that means day to day

* Lead, inspire, and manage a team of Account Managers and Analysts - driving performance, growth, and professional development.
* Deliver client revenue growth through strategic account expansion, retention, and high-performance team delivery.
* Champion a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across all account functions.
* Maintain and grow senior-level client relationships, lead strategic reviews, and act as a key point of escalation.
* Ensure achievement of financial and operational KPIs including certification rates, contractor retention, and NPS.
* Collaborate with senior leadership and act as a visible industry expert, representing SafeContractor externally.



What you’ll need to be successful

* Proven leadership experience in a commercial setting, with strong people management and decision-making skills.
* Expertise in client relationship management, with the ability to build trust and deliver strategic value.
* Strong commercial acumen and a track record of influencing and managing stakeholder expectations.
* Excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
* Background in Facilities Management, Construction, Infrastructure, or related sectors.
* Experience in tech-enabled services, ideally in EHS, Procurement, Sustainability, or GRC within an investor-backed organisation.
