Special Needs School Nurse
Full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term role with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). Supports children and young people (CYP) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in schools and community settings.
Responsibilities
* Independently manage a caseload of CYP with complex health needs.
* Assess, plan, and deliver care for children within SEND schools.
* Provide training for school staff and caregivers, promoting health for children with SEND.
* Assist in the development of the team and nursing practices.
Qualifications
* Active NMC registration.
* Driving licence.
* Experience working with CYP who have complex health needs and/or SEND.
* Ability to act as a leader and manage a caseload independently.
