Accounts Senior Sports (ACA / ACCA Qualified/Finalist)
Location: Esher, Surrey (Hybrid: 3–4 days in office)
Salary: Circa £50,000 + 15–20% bonus + excellent benefits

A highly regarded, boutique firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join its growing Business Services team in Esher.

The Role
* This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accounts Senior looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will manage their own sports client portfolio portfolio independently to include HNW footballers and golfers, while working closely with senior leadership, gaining increasing exposure to advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a primary point of contact
* Preparing statutory year-end accounts
* Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax computations and ad hoc personal tax matters.
* Providing bookkeeping support and technical guidance
* Building strong client relationships and delivering proactive advice
* Monitoring WIP, billing, credit control and ensuring timely delivery of assignments
* Supporting wider business initiatives and ad hoc projects
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or AAT qualified with significant relevant experience) and will bring proven experience from within a small-to-medium sized accountancy practice.
They will demonstrate:
* Strong technical expertise across accounts and tax compliance
* Confidence managing a client portfolio independently
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* The ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
* Strong communication skills with both clients and colleagues
* A genuine interest in sport and working with clients in the sports and media sectors
* Experience working with high-net-worth individuals
* Proficiency in Xero and Excel
Please note: Due to the office location, applicants must be Surrey-based and have access to their own car to commute to the Esher office.

* Competitive salary circa £50,000 (DOE)
