 
        
        It’s an exciting time to join our Pricing, Reserving and Risk Management teams as an Actuarial Modelling Graduate. You will receive career development opportunities across at least two of our Retail Pricing, Commercial Pricing, Health, Reserving or Risk Management teams over a three‑year period. You’ll become part of the team quickly, providing technical support using a variety of analytical, modelling, pricing, reserving, capital modelling and risk management tools and methods. Your work will enhance our understanding of insurance and financial risk and costs, leveraging traditional approaches on established systems and innovative practices on new infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
 * Create, maintain, validate and reconcile exposure and claims data to prepare for analysis and modelling.
 * Support the creation, maintenance, deployment and testing of predictive models; build insights to identify trends and patterns that inform line‑of‑business strategy.
 * Assist in ensuring processes are efficient and enhanced to meet business needs and customer expectations.
 * Assist in producing and developing appropriate and accurate monitoring for stakeholders to support decision‑making.
 * Use your developing skill set to suggest and provide routine analysis that supports strategy across relevant Business Lines.
Qualifications & Requirements
 * Excellent numerical and mathematical skills; 2.1 degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, physics, quantitative risk/finance or a comparable numerate degree.
 * Grade at A‑level Mathematics or equivalent.
 * Strong problem‑solving skills and initiative.
 * Effective communication skills to establish a professional network within AXA.
 * Continuous appetite to learn, develop skills, and complete a relevant professional qualification.
 * Ability to plan and prioritise work with a high level of attention to detail.
 * Team‑player who respects and supports colleagues.
 * Experience with modelling techniques and programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, SQL, Excel VBA or other analytical tools (desirable).
 * Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines while maintaining reliability and accuracy.

Employment Details
 * Full time, Monday to Friday.
 * Working hours: 40% away from home initially, moving to 60% away in the future.
 * Due to the nature of the learning pathway, part‑time roles are not available.
