A vacancy has arisen for a Day Cleaning Supervisor, working on days, 6.00-2.30, Monday to Friday. The candidate will be responsible for Supervising the Day Cleaning Team. Supervision of the Day Hygiene Team Members Training and Development of Team Members. Ensuring the Day Cleaning Team work safely and adhere to all safety standards, including wearing of appropriate PPE at all times. Ensuring appropriate records are kept. Ordering of cleaning stock as required. Liaising with Engineering regarding any issues. Ensuring all areas of the site are cleaned and fully stocked to the required standard. Conducting Cleaning of Production areas as required. Ensuring all onsite laundry allocated to evenings is undertaken as per company procedures. The above is not an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities of this role, but aims to give a general overview of the position. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines. You need experience and knowledge of industrial cleaning and knowing the required hygiene standards within a food production environment would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, be confident and committed, and able to accept responsibility. You will be highly motivated and have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
