Primarily responsible to develop and enhance relationships with local ICBs and other statutory services to increase and maintain high levels of occupancy across the Groups Specialist Care Centres.
Main duties of the job
* Develop effective partnerships with local ICB placement officers, discharge coordinators, and community neuro navigators to highlight the services provided by the Fairlie Healthcare Group in an attempt to drive new business/patient referrals, which includes visiting feeder hospitals within our ICB catchment areas.
* To clinically assess referred patients for suitability for admission and building relationships and partnerships with ward staff, refers, patient and family and funding authority to ensure a smooth, safe transfer of care.
* To maintain target occupancy levels as defined in the Business Plan, managing the referral, pre‑admission assessment and admission pathway working in conjunction with the registered managers to ensure a safe transfer of care for new Patients. Provide outcome data through the clinical governance framework for numbers of referrals, source of referral, and other performance indicator data as defined in the Admission Pathway Procedures.
* Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of the services that the Fairlie Healthcare Group provide to existing and new purchasers.
* Provide outcome data through the clinical governance framework for numbers of referrals, source of referral, and other performance indicator data as defined in the Admission Pathway Procedures resulting in the production of a monthly enquiries/ admissions dashboard utilising the current referrals software tool.
* Research business/ competitors and industry trends/ changes to identify potential new business, markets, risks and opportunities.
