About The Role

We require a highly motivated individual to provide in-class support to students with various needs, including support with difficulties/disabilities, literacy, numeracy, and language. You will also offer emotional support and encourage participation in the learning environment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students studying diverse subjects and may work across different college centres within the SCC group. You will collaborate with classroom tutors to break down barriers and enable learners to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. An understanding of issues faced by young people with learning barriers is essential. Previous support experience and a good standard of English, Maths, and IT are required.
