A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR BRAND: Roxy Ball Room is the home of booze and ball games. One for the adults, as we are always an 18+ venue. Offering a wide range of gaming options from duck pin bowling to tech darts, karaoke to ice-free curling, with a drinks menu to knock your pins down. Started by 2 brothers 11 years ago, under the Professionals At Play umbrella, we now operate 26 sites nationwide with many more to come.
What we’d expect from you
In an Assistant Manager we want a leader that drives the business forward and is a real team player with a passion for hospitality. A winning personality and a fun-loving spirit are a must.
Role Responsibilities
* Ensure we are delivering the best gaming experience for our guests on every visit.
* Input on delivering the quarterly business plans.
* Lead by example through training, coaching and developing a winning team.
* Report financials and venue targets for End of Night Service.
* Manage the safety, security and licensing aspects of the business.
* Manage our guest experience platform to improve service and standards.
* Maintain a fun and engaging culture using Brand Standards and Company Ethos.
* Encourage team growth and development.
* Uphold service standards and duty management during operating hours.
* Create in-house incentives to achieve and be rewarded by managing incremental KPI’s.
* Be an industry expert in all areas of duty management.

Job specifics
* 45-hour working week across 5 shifts
* Availability to work weekends and public holidays
* Reliable commute to work
* Managing a large team of up to 50 staff
* Reporting KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly to the Area Operations Manager
* Liaising with all departments of the Professionals At Play business (marketing, sales, finance, operations and maintenance)
