South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a keen, energetic and enthusiastic Arboriculture Lecturer to join our successful Land based team at our Rodbaston campus. This is to support growth in the area, in addition to delivering and assessing on our range of Arboriculture study programmes and apprenticeships; the successful applicants will also have a focus on the management of learner progress and the development of study programmes, apprenticeships and short courses in their specialist field. Along with relevant and up to date industrial experience in your specific sector, you must be qualified to level 3 or above in your specialist subject and hold or be willing to complete a teacher training course if required. A suitable range of qualifications in felling and climbing/aerial rescue are also a requirement. The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for delivering innovative, interactive sessions as well as providing support, inspiration and guidance to our learners. In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
