Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a TIG Welder. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires a meticulous approach to work, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols. The successful applicant will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components, contributing to the production of durable and reliable products.
Responsibilities
* Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring precision and quality in every weld.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately fabricate components according to project requirements.
* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity within the workshop.
Experience
* Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG welding techniques.
* Familiarity with fabrication processes, including sheet metal work and assembly tasks.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Competence in using basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Experience with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment commonly used in welding and fabrication environments is essential.
