Clerical Assistant role at Job Switch
Overview
The role provides additional support to cope with demand. The successful candidate will be answering and triaging telephone calls, provide daily reception cover (including drop-ins), scanning documents and adding to correct files, triaging email inboxes, database work, and handling telephone payments. The service uses a number of IT packages, so applicants should be comfortable with these IT tools. Training is provided, but the candidate must be a competent user of IT packages. Confidence and experience in dealing with difficult customers is required as the service customers can be challenging. The role is office-based.
Responsibilities
* Answer and triage telephone calls
* Provide daily reception cover for drop-ins

* Support Local Land Charges
Qualifications / Requirements
* Competent users of IT packages; ability to learn and use multiple IT systems
* Good communication skills and ability to deal with difficult customers
* Office-based role; reliability and attention to detail
