About the role
As our Receptionist, you will meet, greet, and sign in all visitors at the office. You will be responsible for ensuring the reception area is always neat and tidy and that each visitor is comfortable and offered refreshments. You will interact with our people daily, so being friendly, caring, and kind is essential.
Here are some other important things you need to know
* Answer the front door intercom promptly and ensure visitors are welcomed.
* Be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries via phone and email, responding promptly and politely.
* Keep the reception area, office, and kitchen neat, tidy, and welcoming; ensure fridges are well-stocked.
* Tidy all rooms, load and empty the dishwasher, keep the kitchen and boardrooms stocked, and ensure the office is clean and safe at all times.
* Support the office team with packaging and posting mailouts, materials like leaflets and invoices.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, laminating, and booking restaurants, cabs, hotels, etc.
* Provide weekly reports as requested.
* Order office stationery and refreshments as needed.
* Take responsibility for resolving problems and queries from visitors and internal/external bodies.
* Foster an atmosphere of cooperation and positivity within the office, dealing with colleagues, visitors, and suppliers courteously and respectfully.
