Are you a detail‑driven finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and supporting business decision‑making.
About the Role
As our Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, conducting variance analysis, managing VAT returns, and supporting the annual audit process. You’ll work closely with the Group Chairman, Executive PA, and wider finance team to ensure financial integrity and drive performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing month‑end journals and full P&L analysis
* Producing Monthly Reporting Packs with commentary on budget variances
* Reconciling balance sheet accounts and raising concerns where needed
* Daily bank and sales reconciliations
* Maintaining the fixed asset register
* Completing monthly and quarterly VAT returns
* Managing intercompany account reconciliations
* Supporting purchase ledger and debtor management
* Allocating cash receipts and completing statistical questionnaires
* Providing sales reporting and analysis
* Assisting with year‑end audit and external finance queries
* Contributing to annual business planning
What We’re Looking For
* Part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Proficient in Excel and general IT systems
* Experienced with Sage 200 (desirable)
* A quick learner, self‑motivated, and able to multitask
* A strong communicator and team player with excellent time management
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
