Compensation: £22,000 / year
Responsibilities
As a Risk and Assurance (Internal Audit) professional, you will assist organisations in managing key risks and helping them achieve their goals. You will meet with clients, discuss their processes, communicate any weaknesses, propose solutions, and confirm that expectations are met. You will audit various areas across the organisation, including Human Resources, staff wellbeing, financial processes, Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, Estates Management, Funding Compliance, GDPR, Health and Safety, and more.
You will shadow auditors during an introductory period, then assist on audits and complete whole audits independently, receiving support from the team. You may develop a specialism in an area that interests you.
You will engage with clients at all levels, from the CEO to frontline teams, building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adviser.

* Ability to analyse processes and procedures—a key skill for conducting audits
* Analytical, solutions‑focused mindset; actively finding ways to improve processes and efficiency
* Adaptability to different subject specialisms and workplans
* Willingness to travel to client sites; access to a car may be required
