We are looking for a Vehicle Inspectors to join our client’s busy workshop team in Thurleigh. You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles to the highest standards and ensuring all faults, service needs and repair requirements are accurately identified.
The Role:
1. Inspect vehicles to identify required safety, service or repair work
2. Record all recommended work clearly on job cards and inspection reports
3. Carry out road tests to support diagnosis
4. Complete mechanical fault-finding and repairs as required
5. Support fellow technicians with diagnostic tasks
6. Handle ad-hoc workshop bookings
7. Mechanical inspection experience is essential for this role
The Person:
8. Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Vehicle Inspector or Vehicle Technician
9. Full UK Driving Licence, able to drive manual and automatic vehicles (max 6 points for minor offences)
10. Able to work independently and make confident technical decisions
11. Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
12. Passionate about the automotive industry and delivering an excellent service
