Payroll Risk Advisor
Hybrid – Handforth (2 days office/3 days WFH)
Full-time 39 hours | Permanent
Are you ready to take the next step in your payroll career? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Risk Advisor to join our Payroll team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise in payroll risk while contributing to a high-performing, values-led team.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting the Payroll Risk Manager in identifying, analysing and mitigating risks across payroll processes.
2. Handling sensitive data with discretion and ensuring compliance with GDPR.
3. Processing accurate and timely payroll for a designated population every four weeks.
4. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners including HMRC and third-party providers.
5. Assisting with audits, reporting, and communications to the wider business.
6. Promoting a positive risk culture and helping to embed robust payroll practices.
What we’re looking for:
7. Previous experience in payroll administration within an office environment.
8. Strong understanding of current payroll legislation.
9. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
10. Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
12. Experience with SAP payroll and P11D processing is a plus.
13. CIPP Payroll Technician qualification is desirable but not essential.
