General Operative / Handyperson HMP Holme House, Stockton‑on‑Tees (TS18 2QU) £27,426 per year 15% weekend allowance We’re recruiting a General Operative / Handyperson to join the Facilities Management team at HMP Holme House on a permanent, full‑time basis. This is a stable role with regular hours, a supportive on‑site team and long‑term work on a Ministry of Justice contract. Why HMP Holme House? Hours: 39 hours per week Mon–Thurs: 7:30am–4:00pm Fri: 7:30am–3:00pm 1 in 3 weekends (rota) – Sat & Sun 7:45am–4:00pm (paid at 15%) What you’ll do: General maintenance and basic repairs Support skilled trades on site Carry out day‑to‑day FM tasks as directed What we’re looking for: Experience in general maintenance / DIY / handyperson work Reliable, practical and willing to learn Able to work well as part of a team Prison security clearance required and Standard DBS – supported by Amey).
