This role requires someone with experience in personal care and a strong understanding of SEN strategies. The Role: Provide consistent support for primary-aged pupils with additional needs. Assist with personal care routines in a respectful and sensitive manner. Support learning activities tailored to the children's individual education plan (IEP). Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt support strategies. Promote independence, emotional regulation and engagement in the classroom. Requirements: Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) - essential. Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting. Confidence in delivering personal care and managing physical needs. Patience, empathy and a proactive approach to learning support.
