The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated, flexible and organised individual to lead the academy’s attendance team. This is an important post within the academy responsible for working with students and their families to support regular attendance at school. You will be committed to promoting high levels of attendance, reducing student absence and have a track record of working successfully with children, young people and families.
About You
Ideally, you will have a good understanding of the education system, particularly in relation to school attendance. A Grade C or above at GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as this role includes regular communication with parents. You will need to have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel to support in reporting and tracking attendance, and it would be ideal to have had experience of how to use Arbor and its reporting systems.
