About The Role
We are seeking a Diocesan Director of Ordinands with strategic expertise to unlock the potential for licensed lay and ordained ministry across the Diocese.
About You
You will lead a dedicated Vocations and DDO team, including two full-time Area Directors of Ordinand (ADO), one full-time Administrator, and seven part-time Volunteer Assistant Directors of Ordinands (VADO).
You should be comfortable working both as a team member and leader, guiding strategic responses to vocations opportunities and fostering both lay and ordained vocations. You will oversee candidates through the Shared Discernment Process.
This role has a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for the appointee to be an ordained member of the Church of England, in accordance with Part 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
