About The Role
Division: Central - Insurance department
Location: Hillsborough, Northern Ireland
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Administrator to join our Hillsborough based team, on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient coordination and administration of all insurance matters, requirements, paperwork, and systems within the GRAHAM Group. This includes ensuring statutory insurance requirements are met and maintained, and that Group policies are followed and complied with.
We are looking for candidates with excellent organizational and communication skills, who can handle confidential information discreetly. Experience in construction, insurance, or finance industries is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily administrative support to the Insurance Department.
* Coordinate the administration of the Drivers Questionnaire process and External Subcontractor Insurance database.
* Maintain and update insurance claims records.
* Manage filing systems and registers.
* Support site personnel with urgent insurance issues.
* Assist with insurance accounts and reporting.
* Manage insurance documents and certificates.
* Build relationships with managers, partners, and specialists.
* Explain insurance issues to non-experts.
* Administer the Motor Accident Database.
* Attend meetings related to insurance and claims as needed.
* Manage the Plant register and third-party payments.
* Assist with travel bookings and inter-departmental administrative support.
* Occasional reception duties.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently, make decisions, and analyze information.
Desirable:
* Experience in construction, insurance, claims, or finance roles.
