Job Description: As a school caretaker, your responsibilities will include: Ensuring the school premises are clean, secure, and well maintained at all times. Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance tasks, and basic DIY duties. Opening and closing the school site, including setting alarms and ensuring site security. Monitoring heating, lighting, and other facilities to ensure efficient operation. Supporting the setup of school events and activities. Liaising with contractors and reporting any major issues to the site manager or leadership team. Requirements: Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or facilities role (school experience desirable but not essential). Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations. A practical, hands on approach with good problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude and commitment to supporting the school community.
