About the role
At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. Earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector with contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month. You’ll enjoy the freedom to choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments. Shifts are offered across our care homes in the Salford area – Pendleton Court, M6 8FW, and Worsey Lodge, M28 2WG – and scheduled between Monday and Sunday, which may include days, nights, and weekends. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll travel between a cluster of homes.
Responsibilities
* Supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals.
* Helping residents with limited mobility.
* Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of residents on and off site.
A driving licence with access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You are expected to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in related areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
