As a Fire Door Operative, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire doors in various settings. Your expertise will ensure that all installations comply with fire safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fire doors in accordance with industry standards and fire safety regulations.
- Inspect and maintain existing fire doors to ensure continued compliance.
- Repair or replace damaged components to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
We are looking for someone with:
- A good understanding of fitting and maintaining doors to a high standard.
- Good knowledge using power and hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Our coverage is UK wide and travelling to projects will be a necessity, therefore a clean UK driving licence is required and a company van will be supplied.
You are expected to report to head office weekly for replenishing stock and occasional training, so living locally to Kettering would be ideal. There may occasionally be some overnight stays required (overnight allowance and accommodation paid).
