In our Dairy in East Kilbride, we have opportunities for Production Operative. As a production operative, your role would be working on our glass bottle washers and fillers. Production Operative - Key Responsibilities To ensure that hygiene and cleanliness standards of all personnel and equipment are maintained. To ensure the achievement of daily production requirements in relation to the figures set by the production management team To administer and update all required documentation & records relating to filler operation. Ensure that fillers and production equipment is properly cleaned and sterilised. To ensure that agreed daily cleaning schedules, routines and procedures are strictly adhered to. Ensure that the wastage of materials, products and services is kept to a minimum. To carry out average weights testing in accordance with company procedures to ensure legal compliance. Production Operative - Essential Skills Verbal Communication Numeracy and literacy Ability to work well within a team or on own initiative Manual handling Production Operative - Desired Experience Previous experience as a machine operator in a FMCG environment, preferably food manufacturing. The successful candidate will be hands-on, energetic with previous experience, and will be able to work under pressure and use their initiative.
