Are you a dedicated and experienced Secondary School Teacher with expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? An exciting opportunity awaits you to join our team as a Qualified Teacher of SEND in Exeter, focusing on the unique learning needs of secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engaging and effective lessons specifically tailored to meet the diverse needs of secondary school students with SEND.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
3. Collaborate with fellow educators, including teaching assistants and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
4. Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as required to support individual learning goals.
5. Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record in teaching secondary school students with SEND.
2. In-depth understanding of various learning needs, coupled with the ability to tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse requirements.
3. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with a dynamic team.
