VANRATH are recruiting a Contracts Manager to work on fit-out projects for a leading contractor based in Armagh, Northern Ireland.
Remuneration:
c£60,000 + excellent package
Client:
Our client is a leading contractor that specialises in the fit-out sector. The business has been operating for decades and specialises in creating bespoke interiors within the entertainment, luxury hospitality, and prime residential sectors.
Due to continued growth, the business has an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Overview of Responsibilities:
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project tasks, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing project schedules and budgets, conducting inspections, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The Contracts Manager will also handle logistics management and expediting.
Travel Requirements:
Depending on the allocation of projects, site travel may vary. Generally, it will be 1 or 2 days per week/fortnight but occasionally may require a bit more time away if a project demands it.
The Ideal Person:
* Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
* Experience working on fit-out projects
* Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
* A successful track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and of excellent quality
* Great attention to detail, commercial acumen, and cost control
* Good IT skills to enable flow of information between those involved in the project, particularly Microsoft Outlook
* Able to commute to Armagh on a daily basis
* Happy to travel to mainland UK when required (1 or 2 days per week/fortnightly)
