Job Title: Master Data SupervisorLocation: GlascoedSalary: £40,000-41,000 dependent on skills and experienceWhat you’ll be doing:Primary activities include accurate and timely entry, review and distribution of master data, – you will be responsible for effective execution data qualityOur Business Partners will interact with this role on a day-to-day basis so delivering a high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction is of prime importanceSupervise day-to-day operations of the master data team, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and updatesImplement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and proceduresReview and approve master data change requests for compliance with company standardsMonitor data quality, identify issues, and lead root cause analysis and resolutionCollaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and other business units to support data-related projects and initiativesMentoring, and performance evaluations for team membersGenerate reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs related to master data performance and integritySupport audits and compliance reviews related to master data processesDrive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance data lifecycle managementYour skills and experiences:Essential:Previous team management experienceExperience in a master data management roleKnowledge of data governance frameworks and best practicesDesirable:Data certifications (e.g DAMA)Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; familiarity with Master Data Management toolsUnderstanding of Chart of AccountsBenefits:As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.TheFinance Master Data TeamWe’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Master Data Supervisor with a passion for data integrity and operational excellence where you will have knowledge of master data management and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and compliance are critical.
