Digital Manager Marketing - VetPartners, York
We are keen to welcome a Digital Marketing Manager, who will provide direction and support to the UK Digital team; a team of web designers, analytics, SEO and PPC executives in the UK, as well as manage support agencies.
This role will involve overseeing and executing digital marketing strategies across various platforms to drive client engagement, brand awareness, lead generation, and organic growth for our Veterinary Practices across the UK and Ireland.
Our numerous practices each have individual websites presenting their services to a local audience.
The Digital Manager will provide the best client user experience across digital channels to support practice organic growth and will support VetPartners' online awareness and reputation across UK and Ireland.
What you will be doing
* Lead, coach and develop the 5‑person UK Digital Marketing Team.
* Work in close collaboration with the wider Marketing, Communications and Design teams to deliver best‑in‑practice digital initiatives.
* Share and exchange best practices with other countries' Digital teams and agencies where appropriate.
* Deliver a great online user experience and strong visibility to practices supporting organic growth:
o Manage and evolve +200 practice/business websites across UK and Ireland.
o Optimize website effectiveness through analytics and SEO.
o Apply a strong understanding and proven practical experience of building websites.
o Support practice growth through a strong, practical understanding and implementation of PPC activity.
* Drive VetPartners awareness and reputation online:
o Manage and ongoing development of the corporate website (Group, UK and Ireland).
o Including optimisation of content and functionalities.
* Manage the infrastructure and advance functionality and design:
o Manage and develop relationships with key agencies.
o Oversee performance and effectiveness of the digital marketing tech stack.
o Partner with IT teams to translate business and marketing requirements while launching new functionality and tools as needed.
* Drive innovation: regularly seek out knowledge and insights to improve and evolve the tech stack and processes.
What we are looking for
Essential
* Strong experience leading digital marketing teams and delivering measurable results.
* Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads).
* Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, HotJar, AccuRanker, etc.).
* Experience building websites (ideally on WordPress).
* Confident communicator who can collaborate across functions and manage multiple projects.
* Analytical and problem‑solving: ability to use data to gain insights and drive decisions.
Nice to have
* Experience working across multi‑site or franchise‑style businesses.
* Familiarity with additional tools such as HotJar or AccuRanker.
