For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus for all eligible candidates.
1. Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
2. Current MaineHealth employee members are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation from employment.
Unit Bio

Unit secretaries play a vital role in supporting patients and medical professionals through clerical, receptionist, and transporter duties. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
Summary
The Nursing Unit Secretary II performs clerical, receptionist, and transporter duties. This role involves advanced unit involvement in projects and house-wide activities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
3. Experience: Three years of secretarial experience with at least one year within MaineHealth required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Nursing Unit Secretary I role.
