Job Role: Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Essex
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

With more than three decades of expertise in the residential sector, this respected studio has built a strong reputation for its close collaborations with national housebuilders and its talent for maximising the potential of every site. As the studio continues to expand its skilled team of Architectural Technologists, Designers, and Technicians, they are now looking for a proactive and design-oriented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to help deliver large-scale residential projects across the South and East of England.
Key responsibilities for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
Assist in developing workplace and interior architecture schemes from early concept through to completion.
Support the creation of high-quality presentation assets and detailed technical documentation.
Undertake research and apply evidence-based design approaches to align with client goals and project vision.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project strategists throughout all phases of the design process.
Contribute to the selection of materials and detailing to uphold design quality and buildability.
Play an active role in the studio’s dedication to innovation, sustainable practice, and design excellence.
Key requirements for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
RIBA Part 2 qualification or equivalent architectural degree.
Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in a UK architectural or design studio.
A genuine interest in workplace, interior architecture, or strategic design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and 3D visualisation tools.
Understanding of BIM workflows; experience using Revit is highly advantageous.
Solid grasp of UK building regulations with experience preparing planning and construction drawing packages.
Strong communication, organisation, and visual presentation capabilities.
A collaborative approach, design-focused mindset, and enthusiasm for creating user-centred environments.
