Yuno Sexual Health offers free and confidential access to a wide range of services and is funded by Bristol City, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Councils (BNSSG). It is being provided by the NHS and a number of existing not-for-profit sexual health and wellbeing organisations working collaboratively.
In-person clinical services are provided by University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW), who also provide the pregnancy advisory service across BNSSG.
As CIS manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing changes to create new ways of working, working with Trust Business Intelligence team to capture trends and ensuring this information is translated to colleagues in a timely and effective way.
The post holder will ensure the production and delivery of accurate reports. The post holder will ensure the quality of the data submissions is delivered within set timeframes and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and National guidelines.
They will also have a role in training all staff and meeting configuration needs, as well as overall management of dynamic project. The manager will need to prioritise their workload to meet regular reporting needs and changing system requirements.
Managerial
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sexual Health data team
• Ensure identified trends are escalated to medical colleagues
• Ensure reporting data is accurately and comprehensive
• Work with Trust colleagues on system enhancements for data capture and reporting
• To ensure the CIS complies with Data protection Act, freedom of information, Caldicott guidelines and local policies relating to confidentiality and access to medical records
• Responsibility for promoting IT issues and communicating development of UHBWs Digital Services strategy to the clinical staff
• Work within the Division and UHBW polices
Reporting
• Responsible for ensuring data and performance reports from partners are received within due deadlines
• Ensuring good data quality is input by clinical and administrative staff
• Ensure timely and accurate production of the commissioner and GUMCAD reports
• Develop guidelines/polices ensuring they are evidence based.
• Support database management, including writing of data base queries, research data collection and provision of patient records for audit.
• Lead on production (with Service Manager) of regular narrative reports for commissioners and service annual report
