Their work ranges from homelessness services to social care, employment support to retirement living, and they want the best people on board to join them.Your new roleProvide waking night staff cover at the service on a rota basis, including weekend shifts.
Ensure that the project adheres to all the standards set out by One Support.
Participate in handovers with the day staff at the start and end of each shift.Take all reasonable precautions for the health and safety of the project, including implementing the fire procedure, room checks and health and safety inspections.
Carry out welfare checks on customers as necessary throughout the night Some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing waking night staff cover for the service on a rota basis, which will include weekends and bank holidays.
2. Assist in maintaining customer files and ensure accurate and up-to-date records are kept of support provided to customers in accordance withpany policies and procedures.
3. Participate in handovers with the day staff at the start and end of the shifts
What you'll need to succeed
4. Experience of working with vulnerable adults in either a paid or voluntary capacity
5. A genuine passion for working with people and being able to travel
6. Goodmunication skills and the ability to engage with and respect the needs of vulnerable people
7. Excellent team working skills with a creative flair and an ability to think outside the box
8. Strong IT and social media skills to manage and maintain administration and recording systems
