Product Development Engineer - Future Programmes
As a Product Development Engineer, you will oversee technical aspects of your respective programmes. Projects will span all phases of a product's lifecycle: concepts, development, testing, qualification, production, and in-service support. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to achieve various project goals, depending on project size and complexity. This role offers diverse engineering experiences and exposure to multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
* Supporting product development and systems engineering activities for new products
* Coordinating development and related engineering tasks
* Managing engineering bills of materials
* Conducting evaluations such as Pugh Matrices, Fault Tree Analysis, DFMEA
* Manufacturing, testing, and evaluating munitions products
* Planning and managing trials safely from inception to data presentation
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
* At least 5 years of product development experience in engineering industry
* Available for immediate start
* Proven capability in development projects, especially system integration
* Ability to deliver high-quality technical reports
* Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Understanding of project/risk management tools and techniques
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and models
* Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with experience in complex electro-mechanical systems
* Knowledge of Systems Engineering and design principles
* Familiarity with risk management and manufacturing technologies
* Current UK Security Clearance at SC level or higher
