Main duties of the job
We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to undertake complex strength-based assessment, provide Occupational Therapy expertise to residents of Cornwall, working together with other social and health care professionals.
Were embracing a strengths-based approach and working within a community-led support model that builds on the assets and strengths of both people, families, and their local communities. Together, well focus on prevention, enablement, reablement and safety to promote independence and wellbeing. Well ensure that residents, families and communities have the right support in place and at the right time.

Job responsibilities
As part of the supportive Occupational Therapy Team, youll focus on preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support; providing advice, information, moving and handling assessments, equipment and adaptations to promote independence and wellbeing.
We currently have one Part-Time ( Band 6 Occupational Therapy vacancy in the following area:-Mid- St. Austell/Truro
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
This position will be subject to a enhanced criminal record disclosure check.
Fixed term and permanent positions are available.
