Hours: Average of 35 hours per week, working 20.00 – 06.30 hrs, 4 on, 4 off shift roster
Salary: starting salary of £22,930.29

What you’ll be doing:
A varied role, that includes efficiently operating the fuel point and CET plant to deliver the highest possible performance as a team member. Cover the Operational Controller duties as and when required. Carry out overnight servicing on a variety of customer trains, including, but not limited to the replenishment of coolants, oils, fuels, sanding systems and screenwash.
Fuelling of traction units.
Filling toilet water tanks and emptying effluent tanks.
Filling wholesome water tanks
Replenishment of coolants, oils, sanding systems and screenwash
Topping up of other ontrain systems, as instructed by your line manager
What you will need:
NVQ Level 2 in Engineering would be beneficial
Previous experience, involvement and understanding of rail vehicle maintenance activities is desirable
Understanding of Depot Operations
Strong understanding of applicable health and safety requirements is essential
