Job Role: Staff Nurse
You will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within a clinical setting, working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Outpatient department. Your responsibilities include:
1. Participating in delivering a safe, consistent service throughout the patient journey with a focus on customer service.
2. Managing the care of allocated patients.
3. Demonstrating professional awareness, accountability, and maintaining revalidation requirements.
4. Acting as a Link Nurse in your designated area, reporting to and from meetings and training updates.
5. Recognising the need for DOL assessments, mental capacity assessments, and safeguarding referrals, highlighting concerns as necessary.
6. Liaising with Support Services to meet non-clinical needs, including cultural, sexual, religious, and other specific needs of patients.
7. Having knowledge of emergency policies, including cardiac arrest and fire procedures.
8. Deputising for the Senior Staff Nurse when required.
9. Undertaking clinical duties across areas as reasonably requested, practicing within your professional competencies.

Minimum Requirements:
* ILS qualification
* Competence in immunisation, wound care management, and venepuncture
* Experience as a Staff Nurse in Outpatients
* Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
* Supportive, approachable, and cheerful manner
