Job Purpose Payroll Practitioner To provide payroll project support within the implementation of a new SAP SuccessFactors payroll system. Key tasks will include UAT, parallel run support and support in training and guidance creation. To assist the Senior Practitioners and Payroll Manager in managing the payroll teams service. Key Responsibilities Payroll Practitioner Support the payroll workstream in the BMS replacement programme, implementing the SAP SuccessFactors across the HR and Payroll landscape. Assisting the Senior Practitioners in Payroll in the supervision and effective management of Payroll services. This includes providing first line guidance and support to Payroll Assistants Level 1 and 2 along with the identification of training needs. Assisting in the future system roll-out, including the support of change management activities. To assist in the provision of documentation and implementation of new guidance, policies and procedures to comply with Council policies relating to the SAP system. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the BSC Competency Centre, ICT, Finance and the BSC providing cross functional support to meet the changes in demand and in identifying system and process improvements. Providing an integrated approach across the solutions. Key Accountabilities Payroll Practitioner Provide Payroll functional expertise within the ERP modules (Payroll System) in use to confirm and fulfil business requirements definition as part of the SAP implementation Payroll workstream. Liaison with the business and external partners to ensure the most efficient and effective use of the ERP system is being made. Experience and Skills Payroll Practitioner Strong payroll experience, ideally previous project experience, SAP would be an advantage. Challenging and inquisitive mindset for resolving issues. Support with training and guidance for rolling out new systems and processes.
