Contract: Full-time
Salary ranges from: £31,650 to £51,048
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to join a reputable mainstream secondary school in Christchurch. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high‑quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, demonstrating strong subject expertise, creativity, and a passion for fostering students’ literacy and communication skills. What we are looking for:
* A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, Or equivalent).
* Must have a DBS on the Update service- or willing to apply.
* Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
* A strong field knowledge and experience teaching English.
* The ability to build rapport and strong communication skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
* An enhanced Child only DBS on the Update service- or willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
