We are looking for a People Advisor to work within the People Directorate, in our HR Team, to support our culture and values, promote staff engagement and wellbeing, and foster their commitment to SQA's success.
The successful candidate will provide generalist HR support across the team to help achieve operational objectives.
You must demonstrate skills and experience in:
* Providing administrative and diary management support to the Head of Service or Senior Management
* Supporting managers and employees on routine case management and employee relations issues in line with policy, legislation, and best practices
* Participating in and supporting HR-related projects
* Maintaining good communication skills and confidentiality
* Proficiency in MS Office and relevant HR systems
* Experience in providing administrative and advisory support in an HR environment
* Ability to work independently, often under stress, while meeting deadlines
* Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach
Applicants should be educated to SCQF Level 8, ideally with a professional HR qualification or equivalent HR work experience.
