Overview
Moss Park is a nursing home in the Lochaber area, providing holistic person-centred support to older adults who need long term care in a homely environment. A position has become available for enthusiastic care assistants to work in the home. It is an ideal position for anyone that has considered working in care, with excellent staff development programmes and the ability to progress your career in the NHS.
Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on care to help residents maintain independence and wellbeing.
* Support residents in a person-centred approach, focus on activities, and opportunities to go out into the local community with support.
* Learn about care delivery and planning, medication management, working within a close team, and to develop communication skills.
Training and development
NHS Highland provides training and supports all staff in doing qualifications for their role and encourages everyone to develop and progress their career.
