A lettings negotiator is responsible for connecting landlords with tenants, managing rental agreements, and ensuring a smooth rental process.
Key Responsibilities
* Finding Tenants: Advertise properties, arrange viewings, and conduct property tours for potential tenants.
* Negotiating Rental Agreements: Ensure fair terms for both landlords and tenants, and handle negotiations regarding rental prices and conditions.
* Managing Applications: Process tenancy applications, including conducting reference and credit checks, and preparing necessary documentation.
* Providing Market Advice: Assist landlords in setting competitive rental prices based on market trends and property conditions.
* Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing queries from both landlords and tenants promptly and professionally.
* Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as diary management, documentation preparation, and compliance with legal regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with clients and negotiating deals.
* Customer Focus: A friendly and helpful demeanour is crucial for providing excellent service to clients.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including scheduling viewings and processing applications.
