Accounts Assistant – Permanent Opportunity Crumlin Office-based £28,000 - £30,000 Our client is expanding and looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in an accounts role who’s keen to develop their skills and progress in a supportive, friendly, and hands-on environment. You’ll provide day-to-day support to the Finance Manager and play an important role in keeping the accounts function running smoothly. What you’ll be doing: Processing purchase invoices using Sage 50, Xero, and MCS Managing company mailboxes and maintaining credit control spreadsheets Performing weekly credit control tasks, including chasing overdue payments professionally Reconciling supplier statements and recording debit card expenditure accurately Sending monthly customer statements and assisting with supplier payments Processing staff expenses, fuel cards, and credit card transactions Ensuring all financial entries comply with HMRC VAT guidelines Maintaining accurate supplier and customer records Handling electronic filing and general finance administration Collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to resolve queries efficiently What we’re looking for: AAT qualified or relevant experience in a similar role Experience using Sage 50 or Xero (advantageous but not essential) Strong attention to detail and accuracy A confident communicator, comfortable dealing with people at all levels Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently Happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in What’s in it for you: Competitive salary On-site parking After a 6-month probationary period, potential for study support (financial and time off) A friendly, collaborative working environment where your contribution matters Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (with some flexibility) Interested?
