What will you be doing?Working under the supervision of our Solicitor and Senior Disrepair Paralegal, you'll:Support in managing a range of disrepair and housing litigation claimsAssist with tasks such as disclosure review, document drafting, collating evidence, and liaising with colleagues and external partiesPrepare legal bundles, case summaries and instructions to counselAttend meetings and case conferences, supporting with notes and follow-upUse legal case management systems to maintain accurate records and track deadlinesWork collaboratively with teams across the organisation to gather information and support the resolution of claimsEnsure all work is delivered to high professional and ethical standardsProvide general legal and administrative support to the Legal Services TeamProactively contribute to service improvements and a culture of legal excellenceWhat do you need?Essential:Law degree or conversion courseBasic understanding of disrepair and housing lawExcellent client care and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident with Microsoft Office and digital case managementAbility to manage time and priorities effectivelyA team player who is eager to learn and grow within the legal fieldDesirable:Experience supporting or handling property law or housing-related casesAdvocacy experienceUnderstanding of social housing compliance, tenant engagement, or risk managementWho are we?First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) owns and manages around 11,500 homes and is proud to have the highest regulatory rating (G1/V1).
