Note: We have only 16-hour contracts available.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for keeping the home clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming. Your attention to detail will be reflected in the environment you maintain. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with a positive attitude and the ability to get along with others. Strong communication skills, including listening and giving instructions, are essential. Always communicate with residents and colleagues with consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should feel confident in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
