Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Urology to join a well-established team for a 6-month locum position in a reputable NHS hospital in Scotland. This role presents an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care while contributing to a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-level clinical care to urology patients, including consultations, diagnostics, and treatments
* Performing surgeries and procedures as required
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
* Engaging in teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff
* Contributing to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities
Essential Requirements:
* GMC registration with a license to practice
* MRCS or equivalent (preferred)
* Significant experience in urology at Consultant level
* Full eligibility to work in the UK
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
* Must be available to start ASAP
